Thomas, Cindy, Kailou (12), and Jade (9) moved to Bamako, Mali in West Africa in August 2011. Thomas is a 5th grade teacher and Cindy a school counselor at the American International School of Bamako (AISB), a private school with kids from 28 countries. Kailou is in 7th grade and Jade in 4th at AISB. Friends have asked us to blog our experiences and we hope we can keep up a good flow of photos.
